Job Description


Planet Pharma are working with a global biopharmaceutical company dedicated to discovering and developing innovative medicines and solutions to improve the lives of people living with severe diseases. The company focuses on two main therapeutic areas: neurology and immunology.


This role is part of the RWE Early Solutions team, focusing on gene therapy, neurodegeneration, and Parkinson’s assets. While prior experience with these therapeutic areas or indications is advantageous, it is not a requirement.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist the RWE Strategy Lead in implementing and delivering the RWE tactical plan across Parkinson’s disease and gene therapy programs.
  • Lead the design, planning, and execution of RWE and RWI studies, including developing study concepts, protocols, and analysis specifications, ensuring adherence to best methodological standards. Oversee the timely delivery of studies to meet project goals and requirements.
  • Drive the interpretation of real-world data (RWD) analyses and effectively communicate findings and insights to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct targeted literature reviews to explore patient groups that may benefit from treatments, contribute to Risk Management Plans (RMPs) and safety reports, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop materials such as presentations, reports, and project plans for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to innovative study designs, such as target trial emulation, and assess the feasibility of new data sources and advanced analytics, including digital pharmacoepidemiology and artificial intelligence.
  • Identify suitable RWD sources to support evidence generation and provide actionable insights


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in working with real-world healthcare data such as USA claims data, UK CPRD.
  • Experience in delivering RWE projects or real-world insights generation from conceptualization to publication within the pharmaceutical industry or with a recognized expert consultancy
