RFIC design engineer - £75K – Chelmsford

Hexwired have partnered with an exciting electronics manufacturer involved with Application Specific Integrated Circuits in the Chelmsford area who are looking to add an RFIC design engineer to their R&D team. They are looking for a candidate with good experience of IC design, SiGE and CMOS.

Essential Functions / Key Focus Areas

  • Responsibility for the design of mixers, high speed multiplexer, LNAs, divider circuits, bias circuits etc

  • Produce detailed design documentation of all blocks developed

  • Implement high performance RF design using SiGE and CMOS.

  • Support product evaluation

  • Willing to mentor junior engineers

    Qualifications and Experience

  • IC design experience: One to five years experience

  • Either a proven industrial track record, or a masters level academic achievement.

  • SiGe Bipolar and CMOS technologies experience

  • High level of expertise with Cadence Virtuoso version control.

  • Successful track record of right first-time silicon

  • Good fundamental knowledge of the use of Cadence Virtuoso in IC design layout.

  • Strong EM tools experience.
