Overview

Barts Life Sciences is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our innovative and growing team. In this role, you will apply advanced data science techniques to healthcare data, helping to develop products and services that directly improve patient outcomes.


Responsibilities

  • Design models to predict disease outcomes from structured and unstructured medical records
  • Use real-time clinical data to forecast inpatient stay outcomes
  • Lead projects applying healthcare data to deliver innovative healthcare products and services
  • Collaborate across clinical, technical, and academic teams, including engagement with Queen Mary University of London, industry partners and patient groups to drive real-world impact

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with healthcare or clinical data
  • Strong expertise in data science and modelling (structured and unstructured data)
  • Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary, collaborative environment
