So far £300m worth of holidays have been booked through us and we’ve helped 10m holidaymakers make their great escape. This year we launched our new mobile website, updating the look and feel and increasing conversion, with the desktop version soon to follow. The company is profitable and was founded in 2009 by former lastminute.com staff with a background in the holiday park sector.


You will join a nimble team of 70 based in 10 countries, all working from home, as we are a 100% remote business.


Our site has been featured in leading global media titles, such as BBC News, New York Times, Le Figaro, and more, and has been translated into 17 languages. We’re members of the Financial Times' FT1000 fastest growing companies in Europe and recently were awarded the Platinum Trusted Service Award by Feefo, for achieving a customer rating of at least 4.5 out of 5 for 3 years in a row.


We are looking for aPart-Time Freelance Recruiter (2 days a week)who can hit the ground running to help hire our Sales, potentially Data Science, PPC Marketing and other roles for the final quarter of 2024 and into 2025. You will bring with you an exceptional understanding of what a good B2B salesperson looks like, whilst being capable of driving a busy and active candidate pipeline. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to our sourcing strategies, enhancing talent pipelines, and building our employee brand through an informative and engaging candidate journey.


About the role

  • Liaising with internal departments to determine recruitment needs
  • Determining selection criteria, hiring profiles, and job requirements for vacant positions
  • Sourcing potential candidates through online company career portals, recruitment sites, job boards and social platforms
  • Managing hiring processes via our Applicant Tracking System, Jazz HR
  • Evaluating applications and screening candidates via calls or emails, as well as facilitating pre-interview assessments
  • Compiling interview questions and conducting telephone or video call interviews with shortlisted candidates.
  • Create strong talent pipelines for our company’s current and future hiring needs
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives
  • Administer and submit all hiring paperwork for new employees and onboarding process
  • Create monthly/weekly reports on key talent acquisition metrics
  • Proactively seek market intelligence to gain competitive advantage in attraction, assessment, and sourcing methodologies
  • Research talent acquisition trends in the staffing industry


About you

  • You will be comfortable being a standalone Recruiter in the business and taking full ownership of the recruitment process
  • You will have a proven track record of recruiting sales, account management and customer services roles either within a recruitment agency or in-house talent team
  • You have worked to hire roles across continental Europe, particularly in the UK, France, Germany, Scandinavia, the Netherlands and more.
  • Preferably you will have worked with high-growth scaling companies, where you can use your understanding of the pace required to deliver volume recruitment campaigns
  • You will take pride in delivering a seamless recruitment service to your Hiring Manager and also an informative and thorough candidate journey
  • It is imperative that you have a track record of direct sourcing methodologies, including CV database searching, Boolean searching and insight where to find suitable candidates
  • You will have previous experience of using an ATS system and be tech-savvy
  • Ability to liaise with internal departments and develop hiring strategies and profiles
  • Exceptional ability to screen candidates, compile shortlists and interview candidates
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
  • Hungry, driven approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills


Salary: £250 - £300 per day depending on experience
