Our client, a leading company specialising in scientific instruments, with a strong focus on applications in energy storage and battery technology is currently looking to hire a R&D Systems Engineer. The successful candidate will work at the intersection of engineering disciplines, driving innovation and ensuring the successful delivery of complex, multidisciplinary projects.
The R&D Systems Engineer will:
Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including schematics, models, and test plans.
Design, develop, and integrate systems that combine mechanical, electronic, and software components.
Support the transfer of developed solutions into production, ensuring manufacturability and scalability.
Conduct feasibility studies, prototyping, and testing to validate designs.
Design, develop, and integrate systems that combine mechanical, electronic, and software components.
The R&D Systems Engineer will have:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in a multidisciplinary engineering role, ideally in an R&D environment.
Proficiency in systems integration and validation involving mechanical, electronics, and software components.
Familiarity with LabVIEW systems.
Knowledge of machine learning, artificial intelligence, or advanced algorithms.
Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping techniques (e.g., 3D printing, PCB fabrication).
Strong knowledge of design tools (e.g., CAD for mechanical, EDA tools for electronics, and software development platforms).
