Location: Nationwide role with the ability to commute to Reading for handover.

We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated radiologist to join the team as a sales specialist! This nationwide role would be perfect for someone looking to move into a more commercial role, as it involves increasing sales growth, maintaining the existing client user base, and consistently promoting a professional image of our company to suppliers, customers, and potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organising daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets. Maintain healthy business growth in the product portfolio subject to economic conditions. Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential clients. Submit and check orders by referring to price lists and product literature. Keep management informed by submitting activity and verbal reports. Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc. Recommend changes in products, services, and policies by evaluating results and competitive developments. Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. Contribute to other members of the sales team by promoting other products to clients during customer meetings.

Skills and Experience Required:

Prior X-ray / theatre experience. Business awareness to hold credible discussions at a senior level, with high-level customer contacts. Successful track record in major account management or new business sales (desirable) Computer literate. Ability to understand profit and loss calculations and basic business finance. Understanding of the principles of marketing and advertising cost-effectiveness.
