As a part of our talent growth strategy, CRD Engineering is partnering with leading universities in Europe and is expanding in Ireland (Dublin) to develop new talent.

We are looking to hire recent university graduates and graduating seniors majoring in Software Engineering or other technical field of study for the Full Stack, UX/UI, Quality and Performance Engineering roles.

Junior engineers will receive coaching and guidance from senior engineers and leadership as they develop their skills and will become an integral part of an agile organization contributing to the development of the CRD/Alpha Platform.

Our senior leaders will be hosting job fairs and interview panels at the State Street/CRD offices in Dublin in the Fall 2024 to meet with recent university graduates and graduating seniors and to extend offers to join our teams to the qualified candidates.

Position Summary: Be an integral part of an agile organization and contribute to building and maintenance of automation and performance testing frameworks and executing the overall quality plan for one of Charles River's products.

Junior engineers should expect coaching and guidance from senior engineers and leadership as they develop their skills and contribute to the team.

Responsibilities: Under guidance of senior team members, help engineer automation mechanisms to generate the data shape and user flows patterns our clients exhibit using the logging and tracing information collected in out environments Research and define the path to achieve full automation testing end to end by introducing the advances in Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Managers to engineer simple and sustainable software solutions for complex problems Coordinate with other Scrum teams within the R&D organization to ensure exceptional product quality and performance Participate in the agile software development process including attending all daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives Execute manual and automated functional, integration, regression, and performance tests Maintain automated and manual test script libraries for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing Interpret results of automation tests and document software defects in issue tracking system; proactively communicate issues with developers and other project team members Participate in business requirements and functional specifications reviews Participate in on-the-job and formal trainings to develop your career What will you learn: We will match candidate's existing knowledge and career interest to the company's priorities to help you build knowledge and practical hands-on experience in one or many of the areas below: Gain hands-on experience with testing methodologies, automation techniques, performance tuning, tooling for functional, non-functional test automation, latest industry trends and best practices and integration with DevOps Develop full understanding of different test automation approaches (keyword-driven, Data-driven, TDD, BDD) and technology stacks (Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, Groovy etc.) Learn to develop custom test automation methodologies, adapt them to clients' needs, and how to integrate test automation into CI/CD process and instrument SDLC automation Gain knowledge of SILKTEST and cutting-edge tools for Web, Desktop, DB and Web-service testing (Selenium, Ready API, etc.) In partnership with senior automation engineers, contribute to research and definition of the path to achieve full automation testing end to end by introducing the advances Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models Qualifications: B.S.

or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, and Physics or other technical course of study.

Interest and passion about building high quality software in FinTech space Ideally, you have 0
- 2 years of professional experience or equivalent college project experience.

Ideally, you already have initial experience with Java, C#, PowerShell, Bash, and batch scripts You are familiar with concepts for implementing and executing automation test scripts against web, native/desktop applications, APIs and batch applications preferable You have worked with tools like Jira and Confluence You are eager to learn and challenge status quo and are characterized by a very analytical and solution-oriented way of thinking You have effective written and verbal communication Able to work well with peers in a collaborative team environment Our employees are expected to work from the office two times per week.
