PSG Senior Data Analyst – MDP Compensation & Equity

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in PSG by managing complex analytics, supporting compensation and equity programs for MDPs across 50+ countries, and contributing to strategic decision-making for BCG leadership. You will build on existing financial models, create advanced reports, and streamline operational processes using automation and data visualization tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advanced Analytics: Perform deep-dive analysis on compensation, equity, and financial metrics to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement, using large datasets and statistical methodologies.

  • Modeling and Scenario Projections: Lead the generation of MDP financial estimates, including accruals, cash basis reporting, and scenario modeling for various lifecycle events such as office transfers, hires, and departures.

  • Technical Automation: Enhance operational processes by leveraging automation tools like Alteryx, Python, PowerAutomate, Power BI, and Tableau to streamline recurring tasks, improve controls, and elevate reporting capabilities.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with PSG and finance teams (Tax, Treasury, Global Accounting) to ensure compensation and equity processes are aligned globally, accounting for geographic and currency variations.

  • Stakeholder Reporting: Develop and present insightful reports and visualizations to senior management, enabling informed decision-making on compensation, equity, and MDP lifecycle events.

  • Digital Strategy: Champion best practices in data storytelling and visualization. Build dashboards and metrics to track MDP performance and compensation trends across multiple geographies.

  • Process Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including data cleansing, validation, and transformation projects to enhance overall reporting accuracy.

  • Project Management: Adept at managing multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment, while ensuring timely delivery of value-added analyses.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

You have successfully operated in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. We are looking for a well-rounded individual who is comfortable navigating complex problems and can work collaboratively to help bring insights to light for leadership.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.

  • 3-6 years of relevant work experience in a data analytics or finance role, with demonstrated success in managing complex data projects.

  • Expertise in financial modeling and scenario analysis, with strong foundational knowledge of finance and economics.

  • Advanced skills in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • experience with, or willingness to learn, data visualization and automation tools.

  • Strong organizational, project-management, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive data.


YOU'LL WORK WITH

Partner Services Group (PSG). PSG is an integral part of BCG’s Global Services function. Global Services (GS) consists of a varied range of functions providing corporate support of BCG's business and strategic priorities for example, Finance, Legal, HR, Marketing, IT, Risk, PSG and more. This diverse team of experts, operators, and specialists represent all levels from MDP to entry level staff, operating across the globe in multiple countries.

This role will be part of the PSG Analytics & MDP Support team and will work closely with the Compensation & Equity team and other PSG sub-functions. You will work with Roberto Sestito, Stef Steege, Laura McDonnell, and the broader PSG team.  Depending on specific workstream, you will work closely with a subset of the team on a day-to-day basis and with exposure to Amy Glass and Ben Holden, as the MDP Co-Leads of PSG function.  You will also team with Agile systems teams and the product owner of Business Insights & Analytics.
