The Role   The Ellison Scholars team seeks a professionally experienced Programming Design and Delivery Coordinator with exceptional organisational, interpersonal and communication skills. The Programming Coordinator will assist the Programming Manager in the designing of the programming journey that Ellison Scholars take as they progress through their time in Oxford. They will also ensure the smooth planning, preparation, logistics and delivery of programming activities and will play a key role in supporting the dynamic programming journey that enhances Scholars’ leadership abilities and prepares them for a life of positive collaboration and impact. Salary Range £35,000 to £45,000   Responsibilities   Assist the Programming Manager in designing, planning and developing programming schedules and activities Provide administrative support and logistical coordination for all aspects of the Ellison Scholar programming delivery throughout the academic year at Oxford and during the summer period, including retreats, talks, workshops and other events Coordinate the planning and logistics for internal and external stakeholders contributing to programming activities Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including programme contributors, EIT colleagues and the University of Oxford Respond to Scholar queries and provide support related to the programming events throughout the year Maintain programming materials and resources for both in-person sessions and via an online portal Collect and present data to evaluate the effectiveness of programming activities, identifying areas for improvement Conduct research on external programmes and organisations relevant to programming development, and assist in building and maintaining collaborative relationships with potential partners for the scholarship's programming initiatives. Support the Ellison Scholars Programming Manager as required    Person Specification    Essential criteria   Programme design or delivery experience coordinating educational programming for large-scale, highly selective programmes for values-driven organisations or initiatives similar to the Ellison Scholars programme Proven experience in programme and/or event administration and coordination, with the ability to plan, organise and coordinate events from inception to completion, prioritise tasks in a busy team, manage multiple timelines and deliver tasks to set deadlines Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication, with the ability to represent the Scholars team and the organisation professionally High level of cultural understanding, with the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds Genuine passion for helping others to realise their potential and belief in the           power of programming to facilitate that journey Exceptionally organised, reliable and detail-oriented Technically proficient with excellent MS Office skills and confident learning new systems Collaborative working style with a demonstrated commitment to the highest standards of diversity, ethics and confidentiality Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends during peak programming periods   Desirable criteria   Experience working, supporting and communicating with young people (18-25   years old) Experience working in a start-up environment with adaptable skills to                                  accommodate a range of duties Good understanding of the University of Oxford Please provide a covering letter when submitting your application and CV detailing why you believe you are a fit for this role and working at EIT.   Powered by JazzHR
