The Role

  • Our team, GeminiApp, is on a mission to build a universal AI assistant that will empower billions of people. We are creating a personal, proactive, and powerful life assistant that will be used multiple times a day to increase productivity and creativity by 10 to 100-fold. Our work is shaping how humanity interacts with AI at scale.
  • As Program Manager on the GeminiApp team, you are a key partner in helping us shape our product strategy. This is a high‑impact role for a PgM who is excited about working in a fast‑paced, innovative environment.
  • As part of the GeminiApp DS team, you will work alongside our Product Strategy & Operations and Data Scientists to ensure our team runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

  • Operational Backbone: Serve as the core operational lead for the GeminiApp DS team. This involves ensuring smooth, efficient workflows, and proactively identifying and solving operational bottlenecks.
  • Governance & Cadence: Drive the execution and governance of recurring insights reviews and reports (e.g., weekly/bi‑weekly cadence), ensuring key product stakeholders are aligned and informed. You will rigorously keep track of our review cadence, insights pipeline, next steps, and action items.
  • Team Culture Builder: Lead efforts to foster internal team culture, streamline onboarding for new hires, and enhance the overall team experience by coordinating team events like offsites, All Hands, and local outings.
  • Comms and Branding: Support the process for articulating the team's impact and story to XFN partners and executive leadership across Google. This includes supporting the narrative around our key findings and strategic contributions.

About you

In order to set you up for success as Program Manager at Google DeepMind, we look for the following skills and experience:



  • BA/BS degree in technical or business fields or equivalent practical experience
  • 4 years of experience in program or project management
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in an agile, extremely high‑volume, and fast‑paced product environment, with the capacity to juggle multiple competing priorities
  • Highly organized and detail‑oriented with demonstrated success in implementing and maintaining organizational processes and systems
  • Proven self‑starter and ability to manage well‑scoped projects and drive execution from start to finish
  • Effective collaborator with excellent communication and presentation skills

In addition, the following would be an advantage:



  • MBA and graduate degree
  • Experience in project management in a product or data science organization
  • Previous experience with managing data analysis outputs and workflows

The US base salary range for this full‑time position is between $126,000 USD - 181,000 USD + bonus + equity + benefits. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
