The B2B Optimization teamharnesses the power of Data, Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence to optimize our partners’ experienceacross Expedia Group’s B2B products: API, white-label template, and travel advisor booking tool. These products support partners across a wide range of segments, including loyalty programs, airlines, travel agents, corporate travel management companies and online retailers.

We are looking for an impact-driven Product Manager to join the B2B Optimization product team to deliver AI and ML-driven technology that improves the partner experience via optimized pricing, supply selection and sorting, content and more.

What you’ll do:  

  • You will understand the needs of partners to inform the strategy for your domain

  • You will define the strategy to develop AI/ML capabilities that optimize Expedia Group’s B2B products   

  • You will translate the strategy into a roadmap, leveraging best-in-class technologies to achieve short-term and long-term goals

  • You will apply the strategy to a portfolio of products, creating various roadmaps and continuously prioritizing

  • You will define product requirements for new features and manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to rollout

  • You will collaborate with engineering, data science, analytics, product marketing etc. to transform ideas into reality

  • You will build great relationships with sales and technical teams to ensure products are launched and supported successfully

  • You will work with our analytics team to track the performance of your products against targets to evaluate their success

Who you are: 

  • You have 5+ years of relevant product management experience, including 2 years in shipping data, ML, or AI-centric products

  • You are comfortable designing technical products that leverage data, ML, or AI

  • You possess knowledge of different machine learning types and algorithms

  • You have a solid understanding of API products

  • You leverage robust analytical skills to drive data-informed decisions

  • You are excited by the accountability that comes with leading a large portfolio of products

  • You have outstanding influencing skills, including experience working within a large matrix organization

  • You speak knowledgeably with engineers about a problem space, can communicate user stories and know how to build products incrementally

  • You can identify the best business opportunities, make prioritization calls, and devise a clear strategy

The total cash range for this position in Springfield is $115,500.00 to $162,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $185,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience.  Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
