Who we are

Zappi is a fast growing SaaS platform helping Fortune 500 companies pre-test new ideas and creative content before launch. From new products, media campaigns, names, logos, packaging or flavours, Zappi allows companies to kill bad ideas and improve on good ones. We bring together top expertise in data science (AI), visualisation, UX and engineering to create a platform that allows non-expert users to make high-stakes decisions easily and confidently. Our working culture is incredibly important to us and our team – our retention is industry-leading!

The Product Team

We’re going through an incredibly exciting period of change, having secured Series C funding at the end of 2022, and are looking to recruit an experienced product manager to help us ensure the Zappi platform meets the needs of our enterprise customers.

At Zappi, product managers have the space to create and deliver on their long term vision, backed by a leadership team and business that supports you in turning vision into reality. You’ll be accountable for leading a team through discovery, analysis, delivery and usage of solutions and features, advocating for customers, sharing context with your team and delivering value to Zappi and our customers.

We have a strong culture of positivity, collaboration and ambition, with engineering, product design, product marketing, operations, expertise and customer teams working closely with Product. You’ll work closely with these teams to deliver successfully.

Who we’re hiring

We are looking for a strong product manager to join our well organised and collaborative product community. You will be working with the Data platform team to deeply understand our customers, create a strategy that effectively anticipates customer needs and delivers on the highest priority items. Collaborating with your engineering team, product design, customer, product marketing and other product teams, you will design, build and launch features that allow our customers to meet their data needs. The Data Platform team is the core of our platform, ensuring the Zappi platform can provide experiences that meet the specific needs of our customers.

The successful candidate will be

  • Able to demonstrate the characteristics of an experienced product manager (this is generally more than 4 years experience)
  • Experience working with large datasets is desirable, including: data cleaning, database management, data monetisation and exposing data via third-party APIs
  • Comfortable being accountable for the success of a crucial piece of Zappi’s offering
  • Able to balance working for tactical gain with progressing towards a long term vision, with a bias for action
  • An exceptionally strong collaborator with other product managers and product teams, used to managing dependencies in order to deliver value
  • You are able to understand complex systems and subsystems, with a somewhat technical appreciation for data modelling
  • As comfortable coming into a project that’s already started as you are kicking off something brand new
  • Confident using data to inform leadership, context setting and decision making within your team
  • Happy letting others take the credit for great work in order to make the most of the diverse talent at Zappi
  • Passionate about great customer experience, making complex things simple, all while improving our users lives in the process.

Responsibilities

  • Deeply understand Zappi’s customer needs for managing multiple teams across global organisations, ensuring they can balance standardisation with specific needs
  • Work with product leadership to drive the product strategy forward, ensuring team outcomes support the goals of the organisation
  • Collaborate with engineering, product design and quality assurance to specify, design and build brilliant solutions to customer problems
  • Work with your engineering team to build an achievable roadmap, mapping out key cross-team dependencies and informing those impacted when timelines shift
  • Confidently manage team stakeholders, keeping them appraised of progress and involved in any decisions they can contribute to
  • Become extremely familiar with your product, able to demonstrate functionality and advocate for the benefits of new features
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to enable customers and the wider Zappi organisation in use of new features
  • Collaborate with the broader product engineering community to flag, investigate and manage dependencies.
  • Location: London / Hybrid

If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
