As a Principal MicroArchitect/Concept Engineer, you will translate application requirements into microcontroller system architectures – working with experts from various Infineon teams as well as key customers.

In your new role you will:

  • Translate customer application needsinto models or descriptions of our functional building blocks
  • Take the ownership forspecifying cross functional Building Blocks, acting as the technical expert, anddeveloping the concepts for both hardware and software aspects
  • Be the interfacebetween our customers, application engineering and development teams whilebuilding cross-functional networks
  • Be the Specification owner, aiming for the best possible compromise between customers and Infineon needs
  • Own and create the corresponding technical documentationssuch as Specification, Functional Safety Analysis and User Manual to provide therequested functional descriptionsanddocumentsto guarantee theISO26262 compliance

You like to delve into problem solving, always keeping the details in mind but never losing focus on the big picture. You have an innovative but methodical approach to work supported by your curious and logical mindset. Moreover, you have strong communication skills and customer orientation that allow you to build and maintain long-term relationships.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • Adegree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics,or a related technical field
  • At least8 years of relevant working experienceinConcept/Architecture,IC design/verificationor related fields
  • Very good knowledgeof state-of-the-art high-scale integrated SoC’sbased on latest technologies, high performance & low power microcontroller product infrastructure
  • Experience in definingHardware Specifications and User Manuals
  • Microcontroller and automotive application knowhow are a plus
  • Basic knowledge about safety standards and applications (e.g., ISO26262, ISO21434 and/or FMEDA) is a plus
  • Fluency in English(mandatory)
