Principal Fullstack Developer– London (3 days hybrid) – £90k-£100k

Hexwired Recruitment has partnered with a company leading the technology charge in a dynamic SaaS environment focussed on distribution and supply chain management. They are now seeking a Principal Fullstack Developer who will play a crucial role in building high-quality data infrastructure from the ground up.

As Principal Fullstack Developer, you will collaborate with the current team to design, develop, and maintain software solutions that meet the needs of their users and align with the company’s vision as well as write clean, efficient and maintainable code. You will also ensure all delivered software solutions adhere to both functional and non-functional business requirements, including aspects like application uptime, performance, disaster recovery, and customer data isolation.

Additionally, you will make informed technical choices regarding application design to support the maintenance and scalability of implemented software solutions as well as assist, guide, mentor, and enhance the engineering team’s skills through feedback, peer reviews, and the creation of skill development plans. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritise features and bug fixes, ensuring the applications are secure, scalable, and easy to maintain.

Key skills required for this role:

  • 7+ years’ of experience as a Software Developer

  • Proficiency in Java

  • Solid experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, etc.

  • Strong experience with AWS

  • Experience working with SaaS products
