Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong ability to translate technical insights into actionable business strategies, magnifying the impact of data science on business outcomes.
  • Propel advancements in data science methodologies and best practices.
  • Deliver compelling insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership, influencing key decision-making processes.
  • Direct the design and implementation of sophisticated predictive models using Pythons ecosystem, including advanced frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch.
  • Engage with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to craft and execute data science strategies that bolster business objectives.
  • Stay at the forefront of machine learning and data science trends, promoting a culture of continuous learning and experimentation within the team.
  • Manage multiple projects and provide mentorship to data scientists and machine learning scientists throughout the company. Ensure the seamless transition of solutions into production, adhering to the highest quality standards and checks

Required Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (PhD or Masters) in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Engineering.
  • 7+ years of experience in quantitative analytics or data modeling, with a profound expertise in machine learning, predictive modeling, and algorithm development.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Proficiency in Python and libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and machine learning tools (Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong technical skills to improve, enhance, monitor and review machine learning models

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Specialized knowledge in domains like retail, logistics, urban planning, finance, healthcare, or retail.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of AWS cloud services and architecture pertinent to data science projects.
