Role We’re looking for a highlyskilled consultant ready to step into a Senior Manager role,bringing a wealth of experience in data, marketing automation, anddata activation. In this role, you’ll combine technical expertisewith strong leadership abilities, managing client accounts,budgets, and teams while driving the delivery of strategicmarketing solutions. You’ll be responsible for mapping customerjourneys and designing automated workflows to optimise engagementacross various stages of the customer lifecycle. A solidunderstanding of B2B sales and marketing, alongside experience inscoping and costing new client opportunities, will be essential.With a client-facing focus, you’ll confidently engage with seniorstakeholders, including Heads of and C-suite executives, to deliveractionable insights and help drive business success. A week in thelife of a Principal Consultant at Mezzo Labs will look like: -Client Account Leadership: Lead weekly status calls with a largemultinational client, covering project updates and budgets. -Customer Lifecycle Journey Planning: Visualise and present thecustomer journey lifecycle using tools like FigJam, collaboratingwith the client to strategize and create an actionable deliveryplan. - Project Management: Capture and align team members to keyclient action items and manage deliverables to completion. -Technical Diagnostics: Conduct MAP audits and resolve datadiscrepancies, providing recommendations and solutions. - Reporting& Recommendations: Present findings and recommendations ondeliverables to clients, identifying additional projectopportunities. - Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior clientstakeholders to develop a 1-2 year roadmap for data activation andcampaign targeting. - Team Collaboration: Build roadmaps with teaminput, leveraging each member’s expertise. - New BusinessDevelopment: Attend prospective client meetings as the subjectmatter expert on analytics implementation. - Project Scoping:Develop scoping documents for new and existing client projects,including time, effort, and key assumptions. - Team Leadership:Lead a small team, ensuring high performance, motivation, andcontinuous development. - Client Engagement & Growth: Identifyfurther engagement opportunities and ensure annual contractrenewals to drive revenue growth. - Client Satisfaction: Conductmid-year client reviews and feedback sessions to ensuresatisfaction. - Consulting Expertise: Act as the go-to consultantfor senior marketing automation technology, advancing client andbusiness success. - Thought Leadership: Contribute LinkedIn postsbi-monthly on analytics trends and insights to support Mezzo Labs’marketing. - Issue Resolution: Address difficult discussions withdissatisfied clients over quality, deadlines, or responsiveness,including potential cost adjustments or renewal decisions. You area proactive and self-motivated individual with a solid workingknowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics, orHubSpot, and a strong understanding of marketing automationplatforms (MAPs) like Pardot, Marketo, or Eloqua. You should haveknowledge of how to customise emails, landing pages, and formsusing HTML and CSS, and familiarity with JavaScript for trackingand personalisation is a bonus. A good understanding of datalegislation, including GDPR, is essential to ensure compliance inall marketing activities. In addition to technical skills, we valuestrong behaviours that contribute to success in a client-facingrole. You should be confident in communicating with seniorstakeholders, whether through presentations or calls, and alwaysseek out value-adding opportunities for clients. With the abilityto multitask across multiple core clients, you’ll maintaindiscipline and focus while working independently and as part of ateam.
