Your role:

  • Requirements capture by leading Requirements Workshops, collating customer feedback and summarising output in report(s)

  • Process review by developing AS-IS and TO-BE process maps based on Process workshops, reflecting customer views on process, and documenting the output

  • Report writing including Workshop outputs, formal specifications for IT systems, business cases, project briefs

  • Presenting analysis products to customers, including senior management, to engage and elicit feedback and support decision-making within the business

  • Market research for solution options based on customer requirements, developing this into an Options Appraisal for customer consumption

  • Working with Procurement to support solution design and options appraisal

  • Providing support to the customer(s) and Project Manager during UAT and implementation of a digital solution

  • Act as liaison between customer and core ICT team

  • To support projects from discovery through solution design to procurement and final handover

About you:

  • Good analytical skills with capability to manipulate data in order to better understand patterns and trends

  • Understanding of public services generally and local/regional government specifically

  • Good understanding of business analysis techniques including e.g MoSCoW

  • Strong analytical capacity with a high-level of written, numerical and presentation skills

  • Strong interpersonal / communication skills with an attention to detail

  • Degree/postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject OR minimum of two years' experience in a similar role

  • Experience of process re-engineering / business transformation

  • Experienced in the use of IT for data analysis and presentation (e.g. Excel, Visio)

  • Ability to communicate effectively the results of analysis to a variety of audiences using a variety of dissemination techniques

  • Experience of customer-centred design and agile practices to help deliver better user experience in ICT solutions

  • Exposure to working in a project environment with a need to report on progress, manage risks and issues
