The AI Enablement team is dedicated to integrating AI services into Schroders, providing access to Gen AI technologies that benefit both employees and clients. In its inaugural year, the team has been pivotal in making LLMs accessible to every employee through the successful launch of our internal AI Assistant, Genie, which utilises OpenAI models. Genie has an impressive user base with over 2000 active users each week. Building on this success, we are now expanding our central AI capabilities to accelerate adoption across the Schroders Group while ensuring consistency.
AI Enablement must collaborate across the Group to oversee and support AI use cases utilizing our technology products, while also ensuring robust Responsible AI governance and promoting education and adoption. This position will assist in these initiatives, along with the duties detailed below, to ensure efficient coordination with stakeholders for our companys AI transformation.
What youll do
In this role, you will be at the heart of defining technology solutions across the portfolio of the AI Enablement team. You will apply critical thinking to the problems faced by the business and form the bridge between business stakeholders and software delivery teams, translating business requirements into technical artifacts. In addition, you will foster and facilitate team processes that keep the team focused, well-organised, and motivated to continuously improve.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply a wide variety of business analysis techniques to capture business needs, discover requirements, map out domains and generate solutions.
- Create alignment and ownership between multiple stakeholder groups. Ensure scope is well managed and considers value, feasibility, and implementation constraints.
- Oversee and refine AI governance frameworks to promote responsible AI usage and compliance with internal AI policies and external regulations.
- Continuously improve guidelines, standards, and risk management processes for AI models and tools.
- Coordinate responses to requests for information from clients, industry bodies, and regulatory bodies regarding AI activities within the Group.
- Own the discovery phase of new initiatives that crosscut the needs of multiple teams.
- Support the development team to have appropriately detailed backlog items with clearly articulated business value.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and adhere to agile methodologies and best practices alongside the rest of the team.
- Play a leading role in the delivery of complex projects or capabilities.
- Perform advanced data analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrate expertise in the latest advancements in Generative AI technologies and provide relevant insights or recommendations for their use in addressing business challenges.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.
- Solve problems by working independently and in a team environment.

- Adaptable and flexible. You will consider the right tool for the situation at hand instead of relying on the same go-to tools/approaches.
- Ability to swiftly acquire and assimilate new business domain expertise.
- Previous experience of specifying and successfully delivering AI and/or Data Science initiatives is highly desirable.
- Skilled in utilising data and evidence to create data insights dashboards with tools such as PowerBI.
