Pricing Data Scientist | Hybrid (London) | Salary £70,000 - £95,000

KDR is working with a well-known and established Lloyds of London insurer to find a Lead Pricing Analyst / Pricing Data Scientist. You will join their Pricing and Analytics department. Insurance experience is essential to apply for this role.

You'll need an analytical mind and the technical skills to shape pricing strategies and build pricing models, combining traditional pricing expertise with data science techniques.

This role involves working in a multi-disciplinary team responsible for pricing, catastrophe modeling, and analytics. It offers the opportunity to learn new skills while applying a more technical, data science-oriented approach to pricing.

  1. Leverage problem-solving capabilities to address pricing challenges.
  2. Analyze historical data and industry trends to make strategic pricing recommendations.
  3. Develop and deploy pricing models for underwriters.
  4. Apply statistical methods to derive meaningful insights.
  5. Evaluate pricing performance and suggest strategies for revenue optimization and margin management.
  6. Ensure accuracy and integrity of pricing data and models.
  7. Create a data-driven decision-making culture within the organization.
