Job Title: Power BI Analyst | Please note the successful candidate must be French Speaking, as will be dealing with European offices and customers.
Location: Eastbourne | 4 days in the office, with 1 day remote
Salary: Competitive (depending on experience)
Hours: 40 hours a week | Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm

Our client, a multi-national leader in the manufacturing space, has an immediate need to employ a Power BI analyst. This newly created role focusses on improving customer processes to automate the customer service function. This role will bridge the gap between IT Infrastructure and data insights to improve service offering to customers through reports, data and better understanding of customer needs. The successful candidate will be analytical and data driven to improve supply chain channels utilising ERP to manage and integrate core business processes.
This role will be a mixture of data analysis, using Power BI and customer service to improve service offering to customers through data, analysing trends and refining data to automate systems and speed up processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Support:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, in a professional and timely manner. Bring different ways of thinking to digitise this.
  • Resolve customer complaints, concerns, or issues efficiently, within the agreed timescale, ensuring customer satisfaction. Use the knowledge to solve the root cause so we don’t see the same issue again.
  • Support customers with information on the complete product and service suite.
    Order Management:
  • Accurately process orders (for internal and external customers), returns, and exchanges. Keeping company databases up to date with accurate information. Bring different ways of thinking to digitise this.
  • Work closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth order processing and timely deliveries.
  • Managing customers expectation – make a promise and keep it!
    Administrative Duties:
  • Compile and generate sales reports; including sales performance, customer data and order trends. Bring different ways of thinking to digitise this.
  • Support the Commercial Team with administrative tasks, such as preparing presentations and managing documentation.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve customer issues.
  • Monitor inventory levels, highlighting to relevant teams when out of scope orders are received.
  • Support the Credit Risk Team with customer communication.
    Communication & Collaboration
  • Collaborate internally to relay customer feedback and offer insight for product/service improvement.
  • Assist in updating the customer service knowledge base.
  • Support the team lead with the implementation of new initiatives and strategies to improve overall customer satisfaction.
    Key competencies:
  • Proven experience of solving customer problems. Ideally, experience within a customer services environment.
  • Fluency in French (preferably a French or Belgium native) and fluency in English with work Visa for UK.
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Strong commercial insight, problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
  • Proficiency in using office software, spreadsheets and CRM systems is essential.
  • Fluent in Power BI or equivalent.
  • Experience in dealing with large language models is desirable.
  • Ability to manage difficult customers with patience and professionalism.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
