Shift pattern for this post is Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operational Manager at the West of Scotland Haemophilia Centre at Glasgow Royal Infirmary who will have responsibility for the Operational Management of a large Haemophilia Comprehensive Care Centre which covers a large geographical area.

This position is to provide expert analysis and resource in managing and developing the West of Scotland Haemophilia Centre Information system which provides complex, sensitive and confidential information to National Services Division, National Procurement and Divisional Integral to this post will be to manage all aspects of high cost low volume contracts for Haemophilia Treatments for patients and to provide complex sensitive and highly confidential reports to National Services Division, National Procurement and Divisional Management.

The post holder is the lead person for the delivery of clotting factors to patient’s in the West of Scotland (adults and paediatrics), both in hospital and home delivery. The operational activities of which require significant planning and co-ordination across many disciplines.

Degree or diploma in relevant field such as Business Administration, or equivalent experience is required with previous experience and the ability to demonstrate effective supervision of administrative and clerical staff directly involved in patient administration.
