Reporting to Josh, our Head ofAdvanced Analytics, who is hands-on and interested in technology,you’ll be part of a highly collaborative team that encouragessharing exciting ideas and bringing them to life. As a Senior DataScientist, you’ll: - Drive value for Simply Business throughpragmatic and simplified approaches to complex data initiatives -Lead data-driven decision-making from data collection and analysisto implementation and monitoring - Facilitate adoption of ML modelsthrough effective stakeholder communication - Work within anestablished MLOps team with opportunities to deploy end-to-endsolutions - Continuously improve through active learning,highlighting opportunities to stay at the forefront of Data Science- Mentor and support team members to enhance team momentum andquality We’re looking for someone who is: - Experienced in DataScience or ML Engineering, or a hybrid of both - Proficient inPython and familiar with other OOP languages - Experienced withcommon modeling processes, packages, and algorithms - Capable ofdeveloping processes, ML Ops, CI/CD, and deployment, preferably inAWS, GCP, or Databricks - Skilled in leading ML projects fromconcept to production - Excellent in storytelling, presentation,and communication, with the ability to explain analysis results tonon-technical audiences - Knowledgeable in GenAI, NLP, and DeepLearning techniques is a plus (We know it’s tough, but please tryto avoid the confidence gap.
