The Group owns and operates internationallyrenowned brands including William Hill, 888, and Mr Green and we'relooking for an experienced (London or Leeds based) Data Scientistto be responsible for developing AI/ML methods, processes andsystems to extract knowledge or insights to drive the future ofartificial intelligence. What you will be doing: - Applying and/ordeveloping statistical modelling techniques (such as deep neuralnetworks, Bayesian models, Generative AI, Forecasting),optimization methods and other ML techniques. - Converting datainto practical insights. - Analysing and investigating data qualityfor identified data and communicate it to the Product Owner,Business Analyst, and other relevant stakeholders. - Collectingdata, exploring it, and performing analysis to extract informationsuitable to the business need. You will identify gaps in the data,aggregate data as per business need, and design & perform DataAnalysis, Data Validation, Data Transformation, Feature Extraction.- Deciding approach for addressing business needs with Data &analytics. Understand end user needs and work accordingly withidentifying new features in the data. - Developing Data Science andEngineering Infrastructure and Tools. - Deriving key metricssuitable for the use-case and present the analysis to keystakeholders. To apply to this post, you will have: - RelevantIndustry experience with a Bachelor’s or higher degree in ComputerScience, Statistics, Mathematics or related disciplines. - Abilityto analyse data and communicate outcomes to key stakeholders,exploring new data sources with excellent coding skills in Python,R, SQL, etc. Understanding of cloud services AWS, Snowflake, andDatabricks. - Evidence of academic training in Statistics.Deep/broad knowledge of machine learning, statistics, optimisation,or related field with exposure to Generative AI and Large LanguageModels. - A genuine curiosity about new and applied technology andsoftware engineering coupled with a high degree of businessunderstanding with experience in large scale product development(is a plus).
