A fast-growing UK-based data consultancy is looking for an experienced MLOps Manager to help shape and deliver a new AI/ML capability. This is a strategic opportunity to blend technical leadership with hands-on engineering as you build out a function within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

In this role, you will take full ownership of the end-to-end machine learning model lifecycle - from infrastructure design and pipeline development through to deployment, optimisation, and ongoing monitoring. You will also contribute significantly to the operationalisation of generative AI solutions, including large language models (LLMs), ensuring they are secure, scalable, and cost-effective.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure infrastructure to support AI/ML workloads
Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients, identifying challenges and designing bespoke MLOps solutions
Develop and maintain robust pipelines for model training, validation, deployment, and monitoring
Lead technical discovery sessions to capture requirements and address key pain points
Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and high-quality delivery

Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience deploying, managing, and monitoring AI/ML solutions in production environments
Hands-on expertise with tools such as MLflow, DVC, Kubeflow, Docker/Kubernetes, and GitOps workflows
Familiarity with observability and monitoring platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Databricks services
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; confident in client-facing roles and cross-functional teams
