Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

This role focuses on implementing, managing and automating deployment pipelines for machine‑learning models, ensuring they are scalable, efficient and fully integrated into production environments. It supports the development and maintenance of CI/CD workflows tailored to ML, while overseeing model versioning, registry management and the incorporation of data‑governance practices into routine processes.


The role also contributes to solving complex problems and informing strategic and operational decisions through advanced AI capabilities. It provides support across the lifecycle of AI models—including design, upgrades, maintenance and decommissioning—while staying current with emerging AI techniques to enhance and evolve existing solutions.



  • You will have knowledge of the data landscape within the sector and how data sets may interact
  • You will have experience of working in an IT Function
  • You will have sound generic, domain and specialist knowledge necessary to perform effectively in the organisation typically gained from recognised bodies of knowledge and organisational information. Has an appreciation of the wider business context. Demonstrates effective application and the ability to impart knowledge found in industry bodies of knowledge and absorb new information and apply it effectively
  • You will have skills in Kubernetes‑based deployment, ML lifecycle governance, observability using key tools such as MLflow, GitLab CI/CD, OpenShift/Kubernetes, Vault, Prometheus/Grafana/Loki

Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks.
