They are looking for a Machine Learning Software Engineer to play a pivotal role in developing solutions that harness the power of data, driving meaningful change in the climate sector. What you’ll be doing: Spearhead data collection initiatives using advanced web scraping techniques to broaden data acquisition. Utilise AI and NLP to refine and transform large datasets, enhancing the quality and accessibility of information. Develop and maintain sophisticated data management systems to support data validation and entry. Conduct detailed analyses to improve the functionality and efficiency of the data processing frameworks. Current team size is 5 including the Head of Eng. They are looking to double over the next 6 months with engineers who can wear many hats (Software, Data & ML) What experience you’ll need to apply: 5 years of experience in Software/Data/Machine Learning Engineering Python for machine learning and backend development tasks Background in NLP to develop and implement ML models for data processing and analysis Experienced with AWS for managing and deploying applications in a cloud environment Proven track record of developing production-grade software for maintaining and scaling live systems. Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD. Data manipulation and extraction techniques for unstructured data sources desirable.
