Their main goal is to develop more general and capable problem-solving systems, known as artificial general intelligence (AGI). Headquartered in London, this contract position is based on site, and offers the successful candidate long term stability.

Responsibilities:

Developing hardware from initial conceptual stages through to final bring up. The contractor will be responsible for the design cycle through design, fabrication to implementation.

Applying varying levels of engineering disciplines (i.e. mechanical, electrical, software) to assess the current state of robots and make recommendations to improve efficiency or solve technical problems with respect to all the company's robots and setups.

We're ooking for candidates with mechatronics background and solid design experience. The ideal candidate has a good command of OnShape and Solidworks. Knowledge of Altium is a nice to have.

Preferably we're looking for people with strong documetnation background as well as test and validation experience.

Working with the company to ensure the applied approach aligns with their standards

Cover all aspects of a project's requirements from conceptual design, analysis, 3D CAD, drafting, BOM generation, fabrication, assembly, testing through to report documentation (e.g. make available downstream the 3D models made with Altium and import them in OnShape, create diverse representations of the hardware using OnShape or other 3D CAD tools)
