Poised to transform the availability and affordability of cutting-edge medical treatments, this company is developing a state-of-the-art automated manufacturing systems powered by advanced robotics and machine learning. Having worked on this problem for over ten years they are confident in their approach and are now building up an engineering team to deliver their products at scale and at pace.

You will be taking on the critical task of ensuring designs are robust and manufacturable, working on anything from small-scale precision electro-mechanical devices through to factory scale automated manufacturing equipment. While speed is important (in both design and manufacture) the key goal is to produce stable and reliable designs.

Requirements:

  • Industrial experience designing, developing, and delivering products into manufacture

  • Specific experience developing precision electro-mechanical devices or aseptic medical equipment

  • Highly skilled with both analytical design techniques (e.g. tolerance analysis) and 3D CAD systems (ideally SolidWorks)

  • Full and unrestricted rights to work in the UK without time limit

    A background in medical devices, life science instruments, consumer products, automotive, or aerospace would be valuable, but is not required.
