Location:Southampton, United Kingdom or London, United Kingdom

Contract Type:Permanent (Job Share: 3 days - Weds/Thurs/Fri)

Regulated/Non-Regulated:Non-Regulated

As the Marketing Manager at Quilter, you’ll play a pivotal role in generating customer and adviser leads. Your responsibilities will span marketing planning, campaign execution, marketing estate management and stakeholder collaboration.

The role is a job share, requiring both part-time marketing managers to work closely together. This collaboration ensures that each manager is fully aware of the other's tasks, can provide cover when needed, and ensures that all jobs progress smoothly during their working hours.

Marketing planning and proposition ownership

You will take ownership of lead generation and raising awareness of Quilter products and services. You will develop a deep understanding of your target markets and position Quilter effectively to resonate with advisers and customers.

Create and deploy marketing campaigns and collateral

Working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager you will create, manage and deliver marketing activities to support Quilter segments – this includes Quilter Financial Planning, Quilter Financial Advisers, Quilter’s platform and Quilter Investors.

To build campaigns, you will work closely with subject matter experts to ensure you have all the information required to create high-quality marketing collateral and promotional activity. You will then work with colleagues to monitor campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.

Integration with overall marketing plan

Your individual marketing plan should seamlessly integrate with the overall marketing plan led by the senior marketing manager. You will also ensure there is alignment with the broader brand messaging and corporate goals.

With support from your manager, you will be prioritising your workload through consultation with a range of business stakeholders; to manage demand and ensure we focus on highest value marketing activities.

Digital presence and social media

You’ll be responsible for bringing the Quilter proposition to life through engaging website and social media content. Working with the website and social media manager, you’ll ensure digital marketing is able to positively influence adviser and customer behaviour.

Marketing estate management

You will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of lead generation marketing materials, from sign-off to annual reviews. You’ll need to ensure that your Marketing activities follow the appropriate review and sign-off process, to ensure they are complaint and meet our regulatory obligations. This will involve using Quilter’s marketing Workflow System MPAH.

Stakeholder engagement

You will need to interact confidently with senior leaders and work closely with wider teams such as Sales, Operations and Compliance. You will need to clearly articulate marketing plans and results to stakeholders.

Where required, represent Marketing on Project working groups to ensure marketing requirements are understood, documented and sufficient marketing resource is available.

Commercial mindset and work prioritisation

Marketing must align with our business plan, and you will work closely with the senior marketing manager to prioritise marketing activities. You will need to evaluate marketing initiatives based on their commercial impact and then make informed decisions within allocated budgets. You will help to ensure that delivery deadlines are achievable and met.

Regulatory Obligations

Whilst this isn’t a directly customer facing role, the duties you will perform will contribute to the overall positive outcomes for our customers by ensuring that all material produced adheres to our CLEAR marketing toolkit.

Negotiating Your AI Job Offer: Equity, Bonuses & Perks Explained

Artificial intelligence (AI) has proven itself to be one of the most transformative forces in today’s business world. From smart chatbots in customer service to predictive analytics in finance, AI technologies are reshaping how organisations operate and innovate. As the demand for AI professionals grows, so does the complexity of compensation packages. If you’re a mid‑senior AI professional, you’ve likely seen job offers that include far more than just a base salary—think equity, bonuses, and a range of perks designed to entice you into joining or staying with a company. For many, the focus remains squarely on salary. While that’s understandable—after all, your monthly take‑home pay is what covers day-to-day expenses—limiting your negotiations to salary alone can leave considerable value on the table. From stock options in ambitious startups to sign‑on bonuses that ‘buy you out’ of your current contract, modern AI job offers often include elements that can significantly boost your long-term wealth and job satisfaction. This article aims to shed light on the full scope of AI compensation—specifically focusing on how equity, bonuses, and perks can enhance (or sometimes detract from) the overall value of your package. We’ll delve into how these elements work in practice, what to watch out for, and how to navigate the negotiation process effectively. Our goal is to provide mid‑senior AI professionals with the insights and tools to land a holistic compensation deal that accurately reflects their technical expertise, leadership potential, and strategic importance in this fast-moving field. Whether you’re eyeing a leadership role in machine learning at an established tech giant, or you’re considering a pioneering position at a disruptive AI startup, the knowledge in this guide will help you weigh the merits of base salary alongside the potential riches—and risks—of equity, bonuses, and other benefits. By the end, you’ll have a clearer sense of how to align your compensation with both your immediate lifestyle needs and long-term career aspirations.
