About the Role:

Are you a curious and ambitious Data Scientist with experience working in Market Research looking for more ownership and the chance to make a bigger impact? Harnham is working exclusively on a new role with a growing research company, where you’ll have the opportunity to take charge of research projects from start to finish and help our clients navigate our cutting-edge platform.

THE ROLE:

• Design and execute data analysis for market research projects, using both quantitative and qualitative data.
• Develop predictive models, segmentations, and advanced analytics to identify key trends and insights from consumer data.
• Apply machine learning and statistical methods to enhance data-driven strategies in product development, marketing, and customer engagement.
• Collaborate with market researchers, product teams, and other stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of insights and recommendations.
• Conduct data wrangling and preparation, ensuring data integrity and alignment across sources.
• Stay updated on the latest data science and analytics trends, tools, and technologies in market research.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related role, ideally within market research or consumer insights.
• Proficiency in Python/R.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and statistical methods, including regression analysis, clustering, and classification.
• Experience working with large datasets and conducting data wrangling and cleansing.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex findings into actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with market research methodologies, including survey design, consumer segmentation, and behavioral analysis.
