As the Manager - Data Product (Digital Applications), you will be at the forefront of creating and executing a dynamic data product strategy focused on seamless data feeds and access for digital applications. Your work will be integral in aligning our data strategy with business objectives and ensuring our digital products are enriched with reliable data from core data assets and cutting-edge AI/ML engines. In this role, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of data products, from prototyping to deployment, ensuring they are high-performing, scalable, and built to best practices. You'll collaborate closely with various business functions as well as architecture, digital, and development partners to ensure every product is driving business success. Your engagement with key stakeholders will be essential in gathering requirements, utilising your expertise to inform the solution, and ensuring our data products serve as reliable endpoints for both external and internal applications. You will stay ahead of the curve by mastering the latest data integration techniques, APIs, and digital technologies, pushing the boundaries of what's possible through continuous innovation. You will also be responsible for setting and maintaining quality standards, ensuring user adoption, and providing comprehensive documentation and release management. Your work will ensure that our data products are not only robust and reliable but also well-understood and widely used across the business. Day to day Lead the development and execution of data product strategies, prototypes, and improvement of existing products to enable a range of consumption initiatives into internal and external digital applications. Collaborate with teams from different departments to identify business needs and convert them into requirements and solutions, advertising usage and adoption of the subsequent assets. Manage end-to-end delivery of data products, ensuring flawless execution and alignment with business objectives. Lead squads of data product analysts, data engineers and developers, providing guidance and support to successfully implement innovative data solutions, feeding various systems. Define and track key performance indicators to measure the success of products and drive continuous improvement Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies, recommending new approaches to enhance our feed and provisioning capabilities for core data and ML outputs Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration, encouraging creativity and out-of-the-box thinking About you Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Proven experience in managing data product development and qualification of value. Expertise in ingress, egress and consumption mechanisms for data and ML models to internal and external systems, along with a strong understanding of data protection, architectural and information security considerations. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail Outstanding communication and ability to effectively manage relationships with various parties involved.
