As a DevOps Manager , you will take on a leadership role in guiding clients through their digital transformation journey. You will coach and lead engineers, consultants and work alongside architects to design, implement and scale DevOps practices across various industries. You will be part of a dynamic team where you will have an opportunity to drive high-impact initiatives, manage large-scale complex projects, and build long lasting relationships with clients and senior stakeholders. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and enhance our DevOps service offerings using industry best practices and leveraging latest technologies. Your expertise will enable our clients to achieve faster time-to-market, improved software quality, and robust, scalable infrastructure. Your key responsibilities Client collaboration to understand business objectives and technical requirements to provide strategic insights on cloud infrastructure and DevOps initiatives Lead engagements to design, and develop DevOps strategies and roadmaps Design and oversee the implementation, and optimisation of cloud infrastructure solutions using industry leading platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP). The solutions are expected to be optimised for scalability, reusability, and ease of use Development and maintenance of automated CI/CD pipelines for efficient delivery and deployment Lead implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with usage of tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or ARM templates for automated provisioning and configuration Prepare design for software components or micro services dynamically, using appropriate agile techniques, following DevSecOps patterns and methodologies and using automation tools Facilitate scalable and resilient application deployment using Docker and Kubernetes Ensure availability, reliability and good performance of cloud services via monitoring, logging and alerting mechanisms Ensure compliance with industry regulations, and best practices for security, performance and availability Drive continuous improvement by creating new service offerings, knowledge sharing and staying up to date with the industry trends Lead clients workshops, business development activities to secure new projects Skills and attributes for success Expertise in CI/CD, Infrastructure and Configuration as a Code, and cloud-native technologies Good knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), DevSecOps practices and modern development tools Excellent communication skills and ability to produce high-quality deliverables Proven ability to assess complex situations and propose effective solutions Experience in leading and mentoring teams to develop high performance solutions and proven ability to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and excellence Experience in leading high quality complex projects from inception to completion Strong business acumen and ability to articulate business value and ROI of cloud initiatives to clients To qualify for the role, you must have Bachelor's or Master's Degree in design, business or technology subject areas or relevant experience Experience of at least 8 years in cloud engineering, DevOps or related roles Proficiency in either one or more cloud platforms such as Azure/AWS/GCP and ability to articulate what each cloud provider offers Experience of developing and supporting cloud-based applications (AWS and/or Azure) Hands-on experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps Experience in implementing and maintaining Infrastructure and Configuration as a Code (preferably Terraform and Ansible), and serverless technologies Knowledge of Monitoring and Alerting using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana and Cloud tools such as CloudWatch, CloudTrails and PagerDuty Knowledge of security best practices, including DevSecOps, zero-trust architectures and compliance frameworks Experience in managing budgets, resources and timeline for complex projects Certification at associate or higher level for one or more of Azure/AWS/GCP Experience in working with bids and in pre-sales, including creating and delivering proposals, understanding client asks/requirements and client presentations Ideally, you will also have SC clearance Certifications preferred: Terraform Associate Certification, Azure AI and Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Familiar with latest trends such as GitOps, ChatOps, and platform engineering Knowledge of cybersecurity in context of cloud Experience with AI-driven DevOps practices such as AIOps and deployment of AI/ML models Monitoring and troubleshooting complex distributed systems and experience designing resilient, fault-tolerant systems Cloud Database management skills Proven experience in high-level programming and scripting languages such as SQL, Java, Python, Ruby, Golang, PHP, .NET, Bash/Shell, JavaScript, Groovy, JSON Knowledge of Linux operating system, including architecture, maintenance and administration of Linux servers Knowledge of open standards, e.g., XML, SOAP, WSDL and UDDI and an understanding of how APIs are engineered Good knowledge of virtual networks and general network management functions What we look for We're interested in candidates with a genuine creative vision and the confidence to make it happen.
