I am working with a pioneering research organisation at the cutting edge of artificial intelligence and computer vision, who are looking to appoint a highly skilled Computer Vision Engineer. Responsibilities
  • Designing and optimising deep learning models for real-world performance.
  • Building robust computer vision pipelines for detection, segmentation, and tracking.
  • Combining classical computer vision methods (OpenCV, feature extraction, motion tracking) with modern CNN architectures.
  • Experimenting with advanced detection and segmentation heads to enhance accuracy.
  • Curating, managing, and optimising large datasets for effective training.
  • Applying strong metrics literacy and data science techniques to evaluate and refine models.
  • Contributing to a collaborative research culture, sharing insights and results with peers.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in optimising and deploying deep learning models at scale.
  • Expertise in OpenCV and classical computer vision approaches.
  • Strong knowledge of CNN building blocks, training dynamics, and segmentation/detection techniques.
  • Skilled in dataset curation and management for machine learning pipelines.
  • A data-driven approach with excellent skills in metrics and statistical analysis.
  • Passionate about applying computer vision research to solve complex, real-world problems.
Benefits & Details

The role is offering a base salary of £70,000 per annum + a wealth of benefits, including a bonus of up to 100%. This is a remote position with occasional team meet ups within the UK.
