We are delighted to working with a specialist Insurance firm that are looking for a highly experienced MLOps Engineer to support their Data Science team and influence the data science delivery process by creating the infrastructure needed to acquire data from the data platform, deploy models, and maintain, monitor, and upgrade key data science services on both Azure's native platform and Databricks.


Key Responsibilities


  • Own and oversee the deployment framework for data science services, ensuring data flow from the business data warehouse into the data science lifecycle.
  • Supervise the automation of the data science lifecycle (dataset build, training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring) for production.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and technical teams, including pricing, to enhance analytics practices.
  • Write high-quality Python code for model training and deployment.


Required Skills


  • Strong Python programming skills
  • Ideally from a financial services or Insurance background
  • Knowledge of software engineering best practices
  • Experience with TDD (pytest or equivalent)
  • Cloud-native deployment experience (Azure)
  • Familiarity with Databricks and managed endpoints (e.g., AKS)
  • Version control systems (VCS) experience
  • CI/CD experience
