This role involves a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and a deep understanding of a spectrum of Microsoft 365 tools, including SharePoint Online, Connections, Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio, Enterprise Search. You will create new applications using Microsoft 365 and SharePoint as well as help delivery teams and power users. You will also provide technical support for SharePoint/MS365/Power Automate/Power Apps/Connections/Copilot Studio/Enterprise Search, and resolve issues with external agencies and teams, business users, and software vendors. You’ll also monitor performance and drive continuous improvement. The evolving use and future opportunities bring a lot of variety in your day-to-day job. Key Activities for this role:

Developing SharePoint Online apps and custom workflows, as well as Connections, Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio, Enterprise Search. Supporting the above spectrum of Microsoft 365 based on prior experience with most components and quickly learning others. Creating and configuring SharePoint Online sites, lists, libraries, flows, and web parts. Developing custom forms and templates. Integrating custom SharePoint and Power Automate with other business applications, such as CRM or ERP systems. Developing custom Azure function and Azure Logic App workflows for SharePoint sites as per business requirements. Providing technical support for custom/citizen-led development in SharePoint/MS365/Power Automate/Power Apps/Connections/Copilot Studio/Enterprise Search.

Essential Knowledge & Experience: Substantial years of demonstrated engineering experience (development and configuration in a Microsoft 365 tool stack, such as SharePoint/Power Automate/Power Apps/Connections/Copilot Studio/Enterprise Search). Demonstrated experience of quick learning and being able to train others in new features and tools. Proficiency in SharePoint development, .NET, Azure tools, Visual Studio Code. Knowledge of CSS, HTML 5, UI/UX design principles, and Angular. Working knowledge of most of the following: Web parts, User Store, Workflows, Master pages as well as Business Connectivity Services, Page Layouts, PowerShell, Azure Logic Apps, Azure functions, Nintex forms & workflows. Scripting skills with PowerShell, some JavaScript code snippets or C# scripts or Python Working knowledge of jQuery. Understanding or relational databases and SQL. Knowledge of Agile and DevOps ways of working. Experience in using Azure DevOps for continuous integration, continuous delivery, pipelines, and version control. Ability to collaborate effectively with development, operations, security teams, business users, software vendors, and other external agencies. Education/Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent. Additional Information: This is a permanent, full-time position in the United Kingdom or Canada. This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of home and a minimum of once a quarter in our Regional or Affiliate Astellas office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs.
