In a world where artificial intelligence opens up new horizons, our faith in its potential unveils a new outlook where, together, humans and machines build a new future filled with knowledge, inspiration, and incredible discoveries.

The development of a functional humanoid robot underpins an era of abundance and well-being where poverty will disappear, and people will be able to choose what they want to do.

We can imagine millions of bipedal robots doing more work than all human labour does today freeing people from the servitude of some repetitive and boring tasks that nobody likes to perform.

We believe that we have enough abundance to take care of everyone who is displaced. Eventually, providing a universal basic income will lead to the true evolution of our civilization.

By deploying our general-purpose humanoid robots in environments deemed hazardous or monotonous, we envision a future where human well-being is safeguarded while closing the gaps in critical global labour needs.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimize mechatronic systems for humanoid robots, integrating mechanical, electrical, and software components.
Select appropriate components, sensors, actuators, and materials based on system requirements, performance criteria, and cost considerations.
Create prototypes and conduct rigorous testing to validate designs, identify areas for improvement, and optimize system performance.
System Integration: Integrate mechanical, electrical, and software subsystems to ensure seamless operation and functionality of the overall mechatronic system.
Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed 3D models and assemblies of mechanical components and systems.
Design circuitry, wiring harnesses, and electronic interfaces for controlling and interfacing with various sensors, actuators, and control systems.
Develop control algorithms and software for feedback control, motion planning, and trajectory optimization to achieve desired robot behaviors and functionalities.
Prepare design documentation, including technical specifications, drawings, schematics, and test reports.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, software developers, and project managers, to achieve project objectives.Requirements:

Strong background in mechanical engineering, with expertise in mechanisms, kinematics, dynamics, and materials science.
Proficiency in electrical engineering principles, including circuit design, electronics, power systems, and signal processing.
Deep understanding of control theory, feedback control systems, PID controllers, and motion control algorithms.
Robotics: Knowledge of robotics fundamentals, including robot kinematics, dynamics, sensor integration, and robot programming.
Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in robotics, such as C/C++, Python, and MATLAB, for embedded systems, control algorithms, and simulation.
Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor) for mechanical design, modeling, and simulation.
Prototyping and Testing: Hands-on experience with prototyping tools, rapid prototyping techniques, and test equipment for validating designs and conducting experiments.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex technical challenges in mechatronic system design.
Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts and ideas clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Attention to DetailReasons why you should apply:

High competitive salary.
28 calendar days of vacation per year.
Flexible working hours.
Opportunity to work on the latest technologies in AI/ML, Robotics and others.
Startup model, offering a dynamic and innovative work environment.

How to Find Hidden AI Jobs in the UK Using Professional Bodies like BCS, IET & the Turing Society

When it comes to job hunting in artificial intelligence (AI), most candidates head straight to traditional job boards, LinkedIn, or recruitment agencies. But what if there was a better way to find roles that aren’t advertised publicly? What if you could access hidden job leads, gain inside knowledge, or get referred by people already in the field? That’s where professional bodies and specialist AI communities come in. In this article, we’ll explore how UK-based organisations like BCS (The Chartered Institute for IT), IET (The Institution of Engineering and Technology), and the Turing Society can help you uncover AI job opportunities you won’t find elsewhere. We'll show you how to strategically use their directories, special-interest groups (SIGs), and CPD (Continuing Professional Development) events to elevate your career and expand your AI job search in ways most job seekers overlook.
