They are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Lead Engineer to not only take charge of the development of their systems but also spearhead the growing engineering function. The product is advanced analytics using AI and machine learning with a low code front end. In the next 12 months, they will be building a shopify app that automates website updates based on manufacturing data. OpenAI, Docker, AWS Fargate, Airbyte, Python, Scikit-learn, AWS S3, AWS RDS, DuckDB, PostgreSQL Building and maintaining reliable data pipelines Optimizing performance Start-up or side hustle experience and an entrepreneurial mindset Proficiency in Python, preferably experience with the other elements of their tech stack Strong understanding of database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS is ideal) and a strong grasp of CI/CD practices BONUS POINTS FOR: Experience in the retail sector COMPENSATION/BENEFITS: ~ Competitive salary range up to £100k ~ 28 days holiday ~ Pension matching up to 5%~ Flexible working as standard
