I’m currently partnered with a leading consulting firm specializing in providing technology consultancy and business process outsourcing services. With a global presence and a reputation for supporting their employees with growth, training and professional development, they partner with clients to embed technology led solutions and achieve improved business performance.

You will be designing and executing data science solutions to solve a variety of business problems and enhance business performance for a wide array of clients. You will project lead teams of Data Scientists, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative machine learning and AI projects.

You will leverage advanced technical skills in coding and modelling as well as nurturing client relationships and identifying further commercial opportunities for data science and AI work.

Naturally at this grade, you will have the chance to employ and flex senior leadership qualities, working in harmony with clients to empathise, understand and dissect their challenges, as well as pull on your depth of expertise as to ‘the art of what’s (technically, and commercially) possible’.

Typical projects relate to pricing and promotion, customer engagement, supply chain and logistics and optimising and automating enterprise operational efficiencies.

We are looking for passionate and engaging data science and AI practitioners, who can delight, inspire and enable non-technical stakeholders, with their exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to deliver impactful commercial results.

Skills & experience required:
Educated to degree level in a quantitative subject; Machine Learning, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics etc.
Experience in management consultancy is strongly preferred from the likes of BGC Gamma, CapGemini Invent, QuantumBlack, KPMG, PA Consulting, although similar industry-side consultative experience will be considered.
Proven hands-on experience in data science required, with the ability to deliver technical projects as well as guide and lead project teams.
Expert in building and leveraging stakeholder relationships, in order to understand requirements and in turn build meaningful and impactful data science and AI solutions.
Ideally experience across one or a combination of the following sectors; Retail, Banking, Insurance, Healthcare/Pharmaceutical is strongly preferred.
