Reperio have partnered with a well-established tech company in Cork who have major plans to grow their Data Science & AI team in 2025. They want to start by appointing a new Lead Data Scientist to spearhead this process. You will lead and mentor a team of data scientists and analysts to develop cutting-edge data solutions as well as take charge of the design and implementation of machine learning models and statistical analyses. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Data.

Requirements:

Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
At least 7 years of hands-on experience in data science roles, with 2+ years in a senior/leadership position.
Expertise in Python, R, or similar programming languages.
Experience in ML tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
Deep knowledge of data manipulation, visualization, and statistical modelling.Nice to have:

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Familiarity with big data tools like Spark or Hadoop is a plus.Benefits:
