What you will be doing:
As an IT Systems and Support, your primary responsibility will be to maintain our organization's cloud-based solutions, with a focus on the Microsoft 365 (M365) environment and Azure. Additionally, you'll provide critical systems administration and desktop support, ensuring both cloud infrastructure and end-user environments operate smoothly, securely, and efficiently.

Location:
This position will be based in our London office.  The candidate is required to attend the office a minimum of 4 days per week but may voluntarily elect to work either remotely or from the London office for the remaining days of the week.  


Key Responsibilities

Desktop Support:
  • Manage all onboarding and offboarding requests for your designated region
  • Provide second-level support for desktop, laptop, and mobile device issues, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and requests.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral devices for end-users.
  • Assist with the deployment of new workstations, ensuring they are configured correctly and meet security and performance standards.
  • Provide remote and on-site support to end-users, resolving technical issues and providing guidance on the use of IT resources.
  • Provide onsite support of all office facilities, including meeting rooms, network infrastructure and local workstations.

Cloud Administration:
  • Support in managing user accounts, groups, and permissions in cloud environments.
  • Help implement and manage policies, access controls, and resource optimization in the cloud.
  • Aid in monitoring and managing M365 services such as Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business.
  •  Assist in troubleshooting and resolving M365-related issues, including email, collaboration, and communication problems.
  • Participate in implementing and managing security and compliance features in M365.
  • Aid in monitoring for security threats and responding to security incidents under supervision.
  • Participate in regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and security teams to enhance cloud security posture.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  •  Basic understanding of cloud technologies and concepts.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (M365) and Azure.
  • Interest in learning about cloud security and compliance features.
  • Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell is desirable.
  •  Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
