What we’re looking for

We are looking for a passionate International Tax Accountant to provide support to the International Tax Manager on a variety of international cross-border matters. The International Tax Accountant will focus on transfer pricing, withholding tax, tax compliance, acquisition due diligence and other ad-hoc projects. The International Tax Accountant will join a tax team of six (four in London, two in Mumbai) and report directly to the International Tax Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Help prepare and maintain the transfer pricing documentation, including the Master Files and Local Files, working with the finance and legal teams and external advisors as required. Prepare the monthly transfer pricing calculations. Perform research on withholding tax related queries. Work with external advisors to prepare corporate income tax returns for overseas jurisdictions. Assist with tax authority enquiries and cross-border tax dispute resolution. Support the International Tax Manager with ad-hoc international tax projects as required.

Skills and Experience

Chartered accountancy qualification (CA/ACA), chartered tax adviser (CTA), or international equivalent. Excellent understanding of international tax principles. In-house tax experience in a multinational environment preferable. Excellent communication and relationship building skills. Cultural awareness and sensitivity. Strong time management skills with a flexible approach to managing workload and meeting varying demanding deadlines. Top tier professional services background desirable. Experience with ERP systems desirable, ideally experience with NetSuite.
