Job Overview:As a developer of power-efficientprocessor technology, Arm is ideally positioned to solve challengesfacing a wide variety of markets, including Automotive, IoT,Mobile, and Servers. This diverse role will largely focus onproviding software enablement for our next generation CPU andaccelerator based technologies on target use-cases. Typicalactivities would include application and system analysis,technology research, hands-on software prototyping to understandhow software and hardware behaves, experimental investigations, andperformance analysis. Recent projects have included technologiesrelated to AI Video Camera, Video encodedecode, and LLM (LargeLanguage Model) applications. You will join a dynamic,collaborative and highly motivated Solutions team based inCambridge (UK) ##Responsibilities:* Application bring-uponporting to Arm silicon and modelling platforms * Analyzingsoftware stacks both statically (code structure) and dynamically(runtime performance profiling) to characterize theworkloadsalgorithms and determine a baseline performance from whichto start optimization * Accelerating algorithms with hand-optimizedArm assembly using the latest Arm technologies such as SVE(Scalable Vector Extensions) and SME (Scalable Matrix Extensions) *Projecting and measuring gains at the application levelEvaluating workload sensitivity to micro-architecture features andconsidering relevant trade-offs, especially related to performanceProviding suggestions about improvements to the(micro-)architecture & application software * Developing toolsto automate workflow ##Required Skills and Experience :* Goodunderstanding of computer architecture and embedded systems *Experience of software development for a commercial organization *Strong knowledge of C or C++ programming * Proficiency in problemsolving and debugging skills * Practical, organized and analyticalapproach to work * Good oral and written English skills ##“NiceTo Have” Skills and Experience :* Experience with assemblyprogramming * Knowledge of optimising and profiling software *Software development and integration on Linux, Android, or similarsystems * Knowledge of scripting languages, including Python ##In Return:We at the heart of the worlds most sophisticateddigital products.
