Executive Assistant An Executive Assistant is requiredto support the Group CEO of a pioneering Nasdaq-listed ArtificialIntelligence business poised for substantial global growth.Although the business is valued at around $1bn, it is stillrelatively early in its journey, with operations spanning London,the US, mainland Europe, and Asia. Role Overview As theLondon-based team is relatively small but growing rapidly, the rolewill initially involve mainly remote working, transitioning to ahybrid format, and eventually becoming office-based from 9-6pm,Monday to Friday, as the London team expands. The Group CEO isLondon-based but frequently travels overseas to manage the Group’sdiverse office locations. This long-term role is designed to growalongside the CEO as he builds the London-based team. Therefore,the EA must be able to conveniently commute into central London,though this is expected to be infrequent in the short term.Opportunity Joining a high-growth, innovative artificialintelligence business listed on a US stock exchange, this roleoffers an exciting entrepreneurial environment with the stabilityof significant resources. It is expected that the EA will become a key figure withinthe team, gaining a deep understanding of the business andpotentially transitioning into senior roles in departments such asMarketing or Operations, supported by relevant training. Please donot apply if: - You are not able to commute easily into London on adaily basis (albeit not required in the short term) - Your Englishis not up to proficient business level - 9-6pm working hours on adaily basis will be an issue - You are unable to deal withinfrequent ad hoc queries outside of core working hours - You arenot motivated to create a platform for your future careerCapabilities While direct experience as an executive assistant isnot mandatory, proficiency in the following areas is required:Administrative Expertise: - Hospitality and visitormanagement/coordination. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office,particularly Outlook, Teams, and Word. - Proactive in anticipatingthe CEO’s needs and solving potential administrative challenges.Organisational Strengths: - Effective prioritisation of urgent andnon-urgent but highly important tasks while managing a balancedworkload. - High levels of attention to detail and the ability tomaintain concentration on complex tasks. Communication &Confidentiality: - Dependable and discreet, with the ability tocoordinate across multiple time zones. - Able to maintainconfidentiality, given the company’s status as a publicly tradedentity on a US stock exchange. Flexibility: - Willingness to assistwith urgent and highly important matters occasionally outside coreworking hours when the CEO is overseas. To clarify, there is noexpectation for the EA to mirror the CEO’s hours when travelingabroad. Career Development: Candidates from adjacent backgrounds(e.g., Maître d') are encouraged to educate themselves on essentialEA skills. Up to five candidates will beinvited to a London-based assessment, where skills in MicrosoftOffice, task prioritisation, coordination, and communication willbe tested. Successful candidates from this stage will then proceedto an interview with the CEO. It is expected that an offer will beextended before the end of November 2024. Compensation Startingcompensation is expected at £40k plus bonus, with the potential fora higher salary based on experience andqualifications.
