Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination:Oversee and coordinate project activities to ensure smooth execution across multiple workstreams. Manage timelines, deliverables, and resources to maintain project alignment with business goals.
- Stakeholder Communication:Facilitate clear and consistent communication between project teams and stakeholders, ensuring expectations are managed and updates are delivered on time.
- Risk and Issue Management:Identify, track, and escalate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle, working with teams to implement mitigation strategies.
- Reporting and Documentation:Maintain accurate project documentation, including timelines, status reports, and key project decisions. Provide regular reporting to senior management and stakeholders.
- Agile/Waterfall Methodologies:Support the project management office (PMO) in implementing best practices, whether working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid environments, ensuring that project standards are maintained.
- Meeting Coordination:Schedule and facilitate project meetings, including status updates, steering committees, and post-implementation reviews.
Requirements:
- Experience:2-4 years in project management or PMO roles, with a proven track record of coordinating project activities across multiple departments or teams.
- Industry Knowledge:Experience in industries such as insurance, financial services, or technology is a plus, though not essential.
- Project Management Skills:Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), with hands-on experience in project tracking, resource allocation, and milestone management.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, or similar.
- Familiarity with PMO frameworks and tools.
- Soft Skills:Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Education:Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Certifications like PMP or Prince2 are advantageous.
