You will drive adoption ofnew features and trends in core processing, accelerators, andsystem hardware, focusing on improved security, reliability, andperformance.Responsibilities:- Understanding new Armarchitecture and IP features, their implementation and what thatmeans for existing software components and tools. Devising how topromote their benefits to software ecosystems and resolve issuesthat arise in their adoption. - Analysis and deep understanding ofsoftware solutions currently deployed in products, in particularthe major open-source software projects such as Linux. - Deliveringsoftware improvements back to the relevant open-source projects asa reference for Arm customers to create their own systems from. -Working with Arm’s OS, OEM and Silicon Partners to drive standardsthat enable the optimisation, differentiation, and fast evolutionbenefits of Arm’s Partner model - Building new software paradigmsonto Arm reference hardware designs - Profiling the performance ofthe system and innovating ways to improve - Leading validation ofthe functionality, security and safetyRequired Skills andExperience:- Knowledge of Arm based computer Architecture andthe range of SoCs and devices that are created using Arm hardwareIP. - Experience of software profiling, instrumentation, andoptimization for real world applications and workloads such as AIstacks, run-time compilers and multimedia processing. - Strongunderstanding of complex multi-component computing systems withproven low-level OSdevice driver development or integrationexperience - Authoritative knowledge of C or C++ development withproficiency with optimizing applications, workloads, and compilers- Experience of the software lifecycle: has taken complex softwarefrom concept to production and maintenance“Nice To Have” Skillsand Experience:- Experience with Android, ChromeOS or Windowssoftware and systems - Experience with Linux, Linux distributions,CloudEdge applications and networking software - Knowledge ofArtificial Intelligence software stacks, algorithms and tooling -Knowledge of multimedia system designs involving GPUs, compositingdisplay processors and image signal processingIn Return:OurUK offices are outstanding places to collaborate.
