Our client is pushing the boundaries of AI-driven solutions to deliver innovative products that empower our clients. We are currently seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer on a contract basis to assist in the development of cutting-edge AI models and technologies.


Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer with a deep understanding of both traditional and modern AI methodologies. The successful candidate will work on various AI/ML projects, including the development of language models, natural language processing (NLP) systems, generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and more. You will be expected to design, build, and configure models with a focus on performance metrics like precision and recall.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize large language models (LLM) and small language models.
  • Implement and fine-tune Natural Language Processing (NLP) systems.
  • Build and configure traditional AI models alongside modern generative AI (GenAI) systems.
  • Apply techniques such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to enhance model efficiency and performance.
  • Ensure AI models meet accuracy benchmarks, particularly in terms of precision and recall.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing products.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in AI, machine learning, and natural language technologies.


Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in building and configuring both traditional AI models and modern LLMs.
  • Strong understanding of NLP techniques and applications.
  • Hands-on experience with precision and recall optimization.
  • Expertise in developing small language models and handling data in resource-constrained environments.
  • Experience with Generative AI and RAG frameworks.
  • Proficiency with AI/ML tools and platforms such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, etc.
  • Familiarity with deployment and scaling of AI models in production environments.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in AI research or publications in relevant areas.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
