La Fosse have partnered with a cutting-edge, high-performance, AI focussed start-up that has been extremely profitable since they were founded and they’re now looking to hire a critical Frontend Developer to join their team working on some exciting new products.

This company use simulation, distributed computing and machine learning to recreate real-time dynamics and in this position you will have the opportunity to take technical ownership in software design, implementation and testing for the front-end components of a brand-new product, as well as having the freedom to determine the correct tools and technologies needed to get the job done, and influence the long-term strategy for product engineering and the strategic future of the company’s frontend tech stack.


Ideal Requirements for this role:


  • 2+ years of software development experience.
  • Solid commercial experience in developing interactive web front ends in JavaScript/Typescript using a React web framework.
  • Experience with testing framework(s) such as Jest, Enzyme.
  • Experience working with RESTful interfaces and an understanding of API design.
  • Degree in a STEM subject.
  • Self-starter and keen problem solver


Bonus Experience:


  • Experience with designing UI components using software such as Figma.
  • Experience in scientific data visualisation, or experience with data visualization libraries such as D3.js.
  • Experience with mapping interface.
