Honeycomb is delighted to be working with our client to support with the recruitment of a professional Logistics/Freight Administrator. This is a truly exciting opportunity for someone who is a transport administration/coordination professional who is seeking a progressive new role. To call our client a local success story would be an understatement - the business has experienced considerable growth year on year and is one of the most interesting companies on the market. If you are lucky enough to work for our client, you will gain experience of working with the largest brands and logistics businesses in the UK. The role of Freight Administrator is a varied position which sits within the transport team. This position isn't a typical freight role due to the set up of the business, creating a unique and highly interesting environment. You will be the first point of contact for hauliers and ensure communication is upheld always. You will ensure SLAs are met continuously and also suggest areas for business improvement. You will process freight/transport administration and run reports for senior management. You will also get to attend site visits from time to time and build face to face relationships. The right person for this role will be a freight/transport professional with an interest in developing within a supply chain/logistics role. You will have a keen interest in transport and be familiar with industry challenges and terminology. You will have strong IT skills and have a strong working knowledge of MS Excel.
