Job Duties

The College of Science, Engineering, and Technology sees applications for two (2) nine-month tenure -track positions in Mathematics in the Department of Mathematics starting Fall 2024.. Application review begins November 1, 2023.

Responsibilities:
Duties include teaching mathematics courses at all levels with commitment to
academic excellence. Additionally, the successful candidate is expected to advise students;
develop the curriculum; establish and maintain a relationship with industry; serve on departmental, school, and university committees; perform appropriate scholarly and service activities; and demonstrate productive and active research with publications, presentations and grantsmanship.

the Eastern Seaboard. There are numerous and accessible parks, riverfronts, lakes, festivals, and beaches: all favorable for weekend getaways and an easy commute to NSU.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Doctorate in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics.
2. Record of teaching and scholarly experience.

Additional Considerations

Computational skills and understanding of and graduate experience in current trends in Data Science & Analytics.
