We arelooking for an Executive Assistant who thrives in a fastpacedhighperforming environment to support our Chief Technology Officer.

The dynamic nature at Vaarst requires you tohave exemplary time management skills and to be an expert inreading the play when it comes to anticipating the needs ofstakeholders and tasks that require prioritising. This role wouldsuit an individual who is confident in their ability to workindependently to achieve outcomes from daytoday responsibilities tomore complex valueadd projects.

To thrive in thisrole you must be comfortable operating in a technical environmentdeveloping knowledge over time and deploying this in your daytodaywork. Being a crucial supporting role you will need to beexperienced and comfortable interacting with senior stakeholdersacross the business and display the appropriate level ofprofessionalism and discretion at alltimes.

Objectives& Responsibilities:

Vaarstis an exciting and dynamic environment meaning these are likely tochange as we grow upon joining your objectives and responsibilitieswill include:

  • Workingdirectly with the CTO to support all aspects of their daily workroutine
  • Maintain the CTOcalendar including scheduling meetings appointments travel (mayinclude domestic and international) publicappearances
  • Managingexpenses for the CTO and theirteam
  • Organise and attendselect meetings take notes capture action items and supportfollowthrough
  • Generaladministrative duties such as preparing memos letters presentationdecks and otherdocuments
  • Ownership of thepatenting process managing relationships with IP lawyers budgetingtracking etc
  • Manage phonecalls taking messages and supporting external visitors or guestsDeal with highly sensitive and confidential informationappropriately demonstrating a high level of emotionalintelligence
  • Workingacross the technical team to support initiatives and positiveculture
  • Ownership of adhoc projects andactivities from conception to completion as well as supportingprojects within the tech teams asrequired
  • Provide supportto the Business Support team working closely with the EAs andoffering cover whenrequired
